Breaking Bad HABITS 5-Day Challenge ( August 3rd) !!!

I know how it is to have a “go to” snack or just an overall bad habit that can be quit harmful to your body rather than good.

Bad habits can be in any shape or form but definitely something that also can be a matter of life or death. It can be big or small or mental or physical. It can be a bad habit of simply biting your nails to something worse like texting while driving.

I want to focus on bad habits that are damaging to your health. For example;

Smoking, Drinking, eating certain foods , sweets; candy, chips, soda, coffee,  fried foods, fast food, e.t.c. on a daily or more frequently then you should. Maybe you have a bad habit of not drinking enough water every day. Even though it is okay to indulge or splurge in moderation on these things but if not taken in moderation and something that you do daily, it can be be harmful to your body causing weight gain, high cholesterol, diabetes and more! cookiesstarbucks drinking

They say it takes anywhere between 18-25 days to make or break a bad habit. I know that seems like a long time to not have the things that you like. So how about we take it one day at a time?

Baby Steps…..

Beginning Monday, August 3rd I am having a 5 day BREAKING BAD HABITS challenge!  So choose one of your daily bad habits and substitute it with something more healthy!  I am raising my right hand to confess my love and addiction to sweets. I have reactivated this sweet tooth and I can tell you that for the last 3 weeks,  I have been eating something sweet at least 3-4 days out of the week.  Imagine if I replaced that with something BETTER for me like fruits or vegetables. I understand that some habits will be more extreme than others. So choose your worst habit and take on this challenge with me!

I want to add ONE more thing to this 5 day challenge…. I know you’re probably thinking… ugh what now?!  lol  well… I want you to work out AT LEAST 3 times during this week for ONLY 30 minutes ( walking, running, biking, anything of your choosing) It’s almost like detoxing from the bad habit! So let’s SWEAT OUT that coffee and nicotine if that is your bad habit of your choosing!

And after those 5 days are over and done with… see if you can go another 5 days!!!
