So I was watching tv the other day in which I always tune into the 9PM Fox 4 news right before I go to bed to catch up on the news of course. And this segment came up on processed meats and how it causes cancer.
I found this very interesting because ONE – this is not BREAKING NEWS or a NEWS FLASH. TWO- Consuming too much processed meat has been a health issue for YEARS. and THREE- now that the WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION is stating that over consuming too much processed meats or red meat could cause cancer it’s all of a sudden a HUGE deal….
( Processed meat refers to meat that has been transformed through salting, curing, fermentation, smoking, or other processes to enhance flavor or improve preservation. Most processed meats contain pork or beef, but processed meats may also contain other red meats, poultry, offal, or meat by-products such as blood.)
Well I am not an expert on this topic AT ALL– but there seems to be A LOT of daily usage or consumption of foods and products that people utilize on a daily basis that “Seem To Cause Cancer.” I believe in this 100% — from the chemicals in your deodorant to the hot dog/hamburger meat you eat there is a “poison” exposed in the product or food in which will slowly but surely sets your health back.
Does this mean you need to give up everything you love, go natural or organic on everything or become a Vegan or vegetarian? HELL NO! I mean you can if you choose! …but first off — you need the deodorant…lol I, or anyone else do not want you walking around with Body Odor …. and Barbecue’s are THE BEST during the summer time! I am just simply stating ( food wise) that considering to consume less on the processed and red meats — not only PROCESSED MEATS but fried, salty, sugary, foods as well, if you consume less of it, this could really enhance your health and make it A LOT better. Moderation is key!
